Tecno Minuterie’s history is characterized by continuous research and innovation supported by cutting-edge technological content. Founded thirty years ago to operate in the production of small metal parts and the construction of molds dedicated to the work shoe sector, Tecno Minuterie has evolved over the years by expanding its scope.

Our philosophy is always to grow our product offerings to cover different markets. Of course, without neglecting the various traditional product lines, such as mass-produced and semiautomatic punched items. It is, in fact, these products (hooks with ring – self-piercing, with Back and with rivet – grommets and multiples, pins and inserts for heels, washers, caulked rivets, eyelets, lugs, buckles and quick fasteners) that allow us to achieve excellent sales results every year, especially in non-EU countries, where we realize 70-75% of our turnover.”

In addition to these items, however, Tecno Minuterie has been able to flank other proposals, a bit more niche, able to achieve success especially in European markets. For example, solid rivets, an alternative way of making new shapes that footwear or leather goods customers can use to make their collections original. References that are also interesting when one considers that they were made without having to invest in complex production equipment that would have negavely affected the final cost.

“The unique quality of these rivets is that they’re made of a single piece instead of two. This means we can significantly lower the cost of the metal cast molds and assemblers needed for each rivel model while also speeding up production and delivery times”.

Some of the novelties proposed on the market, concern, for example, a line of rivets that reproduce a button and simulate to the point the thread that binds this to the leather, an aesthetic effect that is difficult to reproduce using a sheared product. a rivet that looks like a zamak casting (thus a valuable product), but that can be proposed on the market at a very affordable price and with decidedly low application costs. It can be applied safely with automatic machines or with an ordinary press.

“In the hook sector, we have introduced a truly innovative prototype. By using the production technology of our solid rivets, we’ve been able to make an entirely new hook that has the fastening system of a rivet but the appearance of a button; the fact that it is raised a few millimeters means you can insert a lace that runs as if it were on a sheave or pulley wheel. The resulting product combines three types of different products (a solid rivet with its various shapes, a snap button and an eyelet base), thus obtaining a new, innovative product that can be used for lacing shoes or briefcases without having to use a lathe”.

Tecno Minuterie has worked long and hard on its finishes, using a wide variety of colors and new galvanic shades (like “Big Babol” and “Aurora Boreale”) which, when combined with our new products, embellishes their visual effect and rendering them aesthetically superior.
